Carlisle is my home, and I care deeply about its future. I believe in public education and in the power of collaboration to meet challenges head-on. I’m not running to push an agenda, I’m running to listen, learn and lead responsibly.
My name is Stephen Brousse, and I’m proud to be running for Carlisle school board. In my first letter, I shared why I’m stepping forward: to serve our community, support our students and bring a practical, solutions-focused mindset to the board. Today, I want to share more about what I’m most excited to focus on if elected.
First, I look forward to digging into the school budget. As a taxpayer and parent, I want to better understand how our dollars are being spent—and ensure those investments are aligned with what matters most: student success, teacher support and safe, effective facilities. My background as an engineer and project manager has trained me to ask the right questions, follow the data and look for ways to improve both transparency and efficiency.
I’m also eager to engage with the upcoming k–8 restructuring. This is a major transition for our district, and it’s critical we get it right. My experience managing complex infrastructure projects gives me the tools to help oversee timelines, logistics and community input—so we end up with a system that works for students, teachers and families alike.
Carlisle is my home, and I care deeply about its future. I believe in public education and in the power of collaboration to meet challenges head-on. I’m not running to push an agenda, I’m running to listen, learn and lead responsibly.
Thank you for your support and the chance to serve. I ask for your vote in the May 20 election.
