I am Amanda Rudy, and I am running for the Carlisle Area School Board with Citizens for Carlisle Schools. As a proud resident of Carlisle Borough, a military retiree’s spouse and a mother of two elementary students in the Carlisle Area School District, I am deeply invested in our community and our children’s education.

My involvement as a member of the Bellaire Elementary PTO and the Preschool Commission at St. John’s Episcopal Church reflects my commitment to fostering a supportive environment for our students and families. I believe that working together as parents and teachers is essential for achieving the best outcomes for our children. Collaboration and communication are key to creating a thriving educational community.

One of my primary goals is to revitalize the Bison Foundation. By transforming it into a sustainable source of support for student scholarships, innovation and enrichment programs, we can ensure that every child has access to the resources they need to succeed. It is vital to provide our students with opportunities that go beyond the classroom.

I also firmly believe in supporting our teachers and recognizing the critical role they play in shaping our students' futures. They deserve our respect and the resources necessary to excel in their roles. Building trust between the school board and our community is essential for fostering a positive relationship where everyone feels valued and heard.

I am dedicated to making responsible decisions that benefit all stakeholders in our school district. Together, we can create an environment where our children thrive, teachers feel supported, and parents have a voice.
