I am excited about the future of our district and grateful for the opportunity to help shape it. I would appreciate your vote on May 20.
I am honored to serve as a member of the Carlisle Area School District Board of Directors and proud of the incredible progress our district has made over the past year. The hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, administrators and fellow board members have been truly inspiring.
One of the most exciting initiatives we are moving forward with is the K–8 project, which includes the construction of a new building for grades 7–8. This is a unique opportunity to reimagine how we structure our elementary and middle school facilities. By doing so, we can reduce class sizes, improve learning outcomes and operate more efficiently — both educationally and financially.
As a school director, my role in this process is to ensure that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly, that project timelines are met, and that new classroom spaces are designed with the needs of all students in mind. It is also essential that we use staffing and resources as effectively as possible to maximize student benefit.
At the heart of our work must be a commitment to creating sustainable and supportive learning environments where all students feel safe, valued and empowered to succeed. These environments are not only critical for academic growth, but also for students’ social and emotional development.
In addition, we must continue to foster strong partnerships between parents and teachers. When families and educators communicate and collaborate, students benefit from a consistent and supportive learning experience, both at school and at home.
I am excited about the future of our district and grateful for the opportunity to help shape it. I would appreciate your vote on May 20. Thank you to the community for your trust and continued support.
